A Moment of Inspiration!

The clock on the railway platform ran faster, so did their heart beats.

17:18…

17:19…

17:20…

She was all in pain as she had to miss him very badly, yet again. After a splendid vacation in which they have had the beautiful and invaluable memories woven nicely, now it was nothing less than a moment of the vacation for them.

The train signal was given and her heart sunk little further, though she could keep her tears deep within such that it would be a warm farewell. They knew that the last moment would be remembered forever and they didn’t want to fill it with tears. At the end, it was the smile and the waving hands that occupied the distance between them.

She turned back to go back, though her heart still lied somewhere safely. She had to bring all of her nerves in to her legs to move a step ahead.

“Can I move forward with this pain?”
“When can I be normal again?”

Questions haunted her. She convinced herself and moved ahead. As she was crossing the entrance, it happened that a small boy of age 9 years was taken away by his father in a wheel chair. The boy was mentally challenged and was giving strange looks to the outside world. He was smiling happily as he could not understand the pain that would wrench the heart to be in such position. She walked away after giving an innocent smile to that boy.

In the way she had to cross street children who were happily playing together, while their parents were busy in gossiping along side the road. She saw the beggars, co-passengers, auto walas, rich kids and every one who were occupying the two sides of the road.

Her pain started to turn in to thoughts slowly. Her so called questions turned in to her inspirational thoughts in a while.

“Why should I carry the pain?”
“What can stop me from being normal again?”

Am I not like all others?
Am I an exception to life’s seasons?

A big NO came her way to make out the following.

Life is a challenge
For EVERYONE.
Neither you, nor I can be
An exception to a sensation.

Whatever may we demand,
Whatever may we cause,
Whatever may we choose,
Life must GO ON.

It keeps our spirits high, even after a debacle.
And what more can sigh the augur of a miracle!

Very beautiful and thought provoking. Reminds me of the movie, The Pursuit of Happiness, where a father and son sing a hymn together:

'Lord, don't move the mountains,
Just give me the strength to climb it.'

Sort of a sad little story but the meaning was very good. In the end , life does move on with or without us!

Dear Prams,
Good morning!touching lines,well written!
we have to live till GOD wishes,
Then why don't we make it a beautiful stay?
Nothing changes with my tears,
Then why can't I smile n cause a smile?
Let me count my blessings daily,
Inspired I am to do good deeds;
Nothing stops n noone cares,
Why don't i make a difference?
Time n tide waits for none,
Catichg up with the present life is not easy;
But let me take small steps,
Reaching out to the needy,
Good words i try to say,
Noone needs my pains except me;
And when someone really wants to share,
I just can't do that now.
Still,i have to live, how long not sure,
But trying to live a meaningful life..........
have a great day ahead,prams..

anu

Pramoda,

Turning philosphical? Good thinking. We do meet our near & dear ones who stay away few times a year and it does make one feel the parting after some good times spent together. But that is life and one has to face it as it comes. There is tomorrow again for more meetings.

Take care

Hello dear,

sorry if i almost missed this very beautiful post of yours...:)

been so tired the past few days, so many things kept me busy and occupied until i have to sleep late nights.

i love this post of yours, yes, it kinda' reminds us that we may be suffering from so much pain and sorrows but if we try to look around, we see more are suffering and at higher degrees that we do...

maybe, whatever it is, we should thank God that we do not suffer the worst just like the others we see around us...

in a capsule, be thankful for God is very good to us, no matter what!

Hugs for this very wise thoughts of yours...!

:)

Hi! Pramoda,
Moments of farewell …something that’s really tough to go through , especially between people who keeps hearts safely with each other, but when moments to cherish are fresh in memories ,it should ease your steps to move ahead. The best way to vent out your pain is to look around to watch the pain in this world and realize how fortunate we are…so ur questions turned inspirational thoughts are really inspiring

Hi Prams,

Good work.

Dont get dissappoint for even a simple reason, otherwise you wont be there to taste everything in the life. Just feel the nature and know how it happened and go a head with the same spirit.

Why should we worry when we are missing some one for a while, since we came alone into this miracle world, just feel the pain and enjoy the nature. It makes you to cherish all those things happened.

But do worry about the people who are unable to get help from you, who are not experiencing happiness from you. Just give a small pat on his back and make him to stand by himself, which gives you more happiness and takes you out of this heartfelt depression.
