Your own arrow against yourself... Take Home #237

When you are aware that your biggest strength is your biggest weakness as well, be careful in spelling out about your strength, especially to your rivals/competitors. Ensure either you improve on your weakness or on being diplomatic in conveying your strength. Otherwise, it means that you are targeting your own arrow against yourself.

All the best, Team India!

Amidst all the speculations on every movement of the players, especially bowlers, on the field, I'm here watching or rather following another prestigious cup race of the ICC, The ICC Champions' trophy. Nothing less than a greater disturbance has occurred to the Team India, days before the tournament, and they are straightaway in the finale. They have set everything very right to reach out to the English players on their own soil.

It's been long time we have seen India playing like a champion on the foreign soil as if they are right at home on home soil. The credit must be given to the aspirations of young hearts who have been thriving to prove themselves on the international stage. Some of them are the come back kings where as some others are first time right types. This is a balanced side as we see them. However, there is always a scope for any damn thing to happen in the game. They have to play their best in the middle. Only that can give them the title. Hope they will play their best.

All the best to Team India. England is the best opponent and a fighter team. Indian players have to show their nerves. I hope and wish they do so.

Especially for my blogger friends...

Hello blogger friends,

It's been quite a long time that I've visited your wonderful blogs and shared my opinions with you on your posts. With time, a lot changes. So as my occupancy. There had been a time when I used to reply to your posts/comments within minutes, and sometimes within seconds even. There had been a time when I used to update my blog one every other day. Well, those were some of the most memorable days when my blogging was on full flow and we were all in regular touch. I truly enjoyed that phase. Hope you guys are in perfect moods of your own writing and blogging. I'd like to get in touch with you once again. But I'm not sure weather I can do that right away. However, I'm enjoying these moments of remembering all of you once again. You have been the greatest source of my inspiration when I was in very much need of the same. Keep up your good work.

See you,
Prams

Life might be difficult but living it is easy... Take Home #236

People do say a lot. Do what you think is right and continue to believe it. Introspect at regular intervals. Correct yourself when you think that's needed. That's all. Life might be difficult but living it is easy.

Believe in TIME... Take Home #235

It's not always about being the front face, at times impacting the major decisions from back stage sets the stage for you which you deserve. Just hang on and keep up the motivation. Sometimes, you just have to believe in TIME and of course in your own capability.

True to yourself... Take Home #234

You cannot control when and how others develop opinions of you. All you can do is to be right and true to yourself.

MI's win and Sachin's last IPL...!

It's been a long wait to see Mumbai Indians lift the Indian Premier League trophy. Since the very beginning, this team has been one of my favorites not just for the title win but also for the streak of players it consists. It strengthens the franchisee when it has the senior supporting staff and more importantly and equally backing management. Mrs. Neeta Ambani has been one of the active visitors to her team's outings in the field. Not just with her smile, with her juncture as well she has made a definite place for herself in the team. For me, personally, she is a role model franchisee owner.

When you are a fan of Sachin Tendulkar, you cannot stop yourself for long time from saying that you have supported MI as he being one of the biggest reasons. In any team game, any player is too lesser to the team. Well, fortunately, when it comes to Sachin, he himself broke many generalizations, and that gives every chance for us to follow him.

As I missed Mrs. Ambani while watching the MI celebrations at the Eden Gardens on the night of the IPL final, the 'thank you' message in today's TOI has pleasingly surprised me! I wish BCCI or Team India adopts this for their major wins and for the ever lasting support of cricket's and Team India's fans.

Sachin's announcement saying that he has played his last IPL this time has surprised me. Not in the sense that he should not have done that. But, I remember him not quitting cricket after India won the world cup two years back when everyone was anticipating him to do so. If I remember it correctly, he mentioned that it is your selfishness to retire when you are in good form or after your team wins a major tournament. Now, as MI wins the IPL season-6, I'm not sure if it is not being considered as a major tournament or if the form of him is not satisfyingly good. I believe the reason to be the later than to the former. With that, his retirement from all forms of cricket might just be around the corner! If so, India must be ready to farewell its best ever cricketer.

Congratulations MI... :)

Come soon & Complete...!

When you are with me,
I feel the completeness from within;

When you are away,
I realize the incompleteness within.

Come soon

Consistency... Take Home #233

One has to be consistent in investing efforts for a deal. At times, consistency has to be put on for years too. On the day of success, it is the much appreciated.

Balance it out on being professional

Don't be too professional all the time that you probably ruin your professional relationships. Unlike personal relationships, professional relationships are relatively weaker as every maerialistic thing can impact them. Give and take is equally applicable to them too.

Balance it out on being professional.

Wait for that day...

Though you lose, learn to smile before your opponents and hence make it tough for them to believe that they have won over you. This is nothing against sportive spirit. Competetions keep happening in life and opponents keep coming. It's all about how you prepare yourself for the next clash and nothing much about what has happened for the moment.

Prepare yourself well. Give your best. Result does not always matter. Go for it. Keep smiling and hold back the sword behind it. One or the other day you will be proud of yourself for being so. Wait for it and believe strongly that it will be worth the wait.

Before answering back... Take Home #232

It's not necessary to immediately provide a reciprocating response to every question posed at you, especially by the experienced people. Experience, most of the times, can be understood only by the experience. Listen, take time, think and at times get convinced for no reason, before answering back.

It's need not be the matter of right or wrong always. But it's the matter of respect and satisfaction always.

The past times, the best times!

In memories of past, nostalgic I'm
Time has changed, grown up I'm

Regret all those times I spoke out wrongly
Treasure all those times I stepped out comfortably

Passing clouds bring on the realization
Confession takes on the recovery trials

Far away you are from me
Not too far that I can't get to you

Life changes, seasons change, times change
Change for good moods is the change awaited

Relaionships in life keep changing over the years
Perceive them in positive charms for more long years

The past times are the best times
The other times are  nothing less too.

IPL'13 ... As expected!

Boy to Adult to Veteran, all B'days on cricket field!
Years retired but not this man! A person cuts 15 cakes on his b'day, and it has to be him. Belated Happy B'day to Sachin. A little more cricket in this IPL from his bat would complete the celebration for this year. Who else knows better? Indian fans remember any cricketer by his last outing.

Gayle hates the 'ball' the most?
The so appearing super natural strike from the Jamaican, couple of days back, has left me thinking if Galye hates the 'ball' the most! Achievements like his, 175 Not Out in a T20 Match, make me feel proud of mankind, be it of any color, any religion and any nation! Well, his fearless knock is one of the handsomest acts I've seen in this age. Hope he will keep it up except againt MI and SRH.

Are they playing?
Some of the legend players from other countires have been so out of the news that I ended up checking the team lists if they are actually playing! Some of the Indian players, some who were known for the hardest hitting and some who were known for the best in class spin blowing etc, have been off the news too. But they are still playing.

One of the worst tournments for Ricky?
The most successful captian from the highest world cup winning country has been humiliated to an extent that he has to put himself away from the captaincy and playing eleven as well. No surprise in that decision in fact it's been enough delayed. Hope he chooses his cards rightly.

The Indian Captains!
Who is next to Dhoni? Probably, if it was asked a day before the start of the IPL the name would have been easier to spell out. Now, every other name is in soup except MSD's. The all emotional Young Indian captians of thier own sides in IPL haven't been effective as expected. However, the stromy players in thier teams haven't yet allowed us to realize the bad-captaincy heights.

Mumbai Crowd is the best
Out of all the enthusiastic crowd that has turned up for the matches so far, the most radiant ones have been the Mumbai crowd, as I observed it. And of course, the most self-centered ones remain to be the ones in the Chepauk with the pinching yellow only seen around.

More updates to follow in next posts. That's all for now.

Either choke down or march on!

Two ways to look at it when everyone looks at you for a task.

One,
as a problem to solve,
and two,
as an oppurtunity to prove.

It's becasue of you if you either choke down or march on!

Taking the other for granted... Take Home #229

The first and the foremost stepping stone to failure of any relationship is the moment one starts taking the other for granted. Give partner the due importance. Everyone under sun deserves his/her own share.

Self-cooked dishes are always good for phsycological health

What you choose matters. At the end of the day, it does not matter to anyone else otherthan you and your loved ones, why you have choosen what you did choose. Nevertheless, when you are convinced of why you have choosen something, go ahead and be satisfied  by giving your  best. One or the other day you would feel good to have chosen it irresective of it proved to be a good or a bad choice, and you would feel better because that's your own choice.

Self-cooked dishes are always good for phsycological health which is the top most necessity in the contemporary living amidst the growing competetion and capabilities of people.

Attempt the toughest... Take Home #228

Attempting simple things does not make life a life. Be brave to attempt the difficult ones and keep things simple still. Life will turn simply superb.

Rivalry... Take Home #227

Rivalry is not negative in any means provided you handle it sportively. After all, rivalry has made some legends in the history.

Better, cricketers be just professionals

It's the matter of performing the best in the world's only of its kind cricketing platform, Indian Premier League, and as many as Indian players are ending up in controversies. To everyone’s surprise, issues of the age of half-decade have come all over up in the matters, not just to overshadow the recent spat-gate between Gambhir and Kohli but also to improve the TRP’s of as many news channels or news papers as possible. Or maybe, to improve the TRP’s of IPL itself.
A player with maximum ‘Santhi’ in his name however has never allowed the spectators to see him being calmly on the job. Once again, as if there has been no news about him, he has come up to make the news himself. He might be right at his position with the trauma he would have gone through being the victim’s end in the slap-gate incident. However, he could have been more matured and focused on his current assignment in which more than eighty percent of cricket still left for this season. It was his choice to speak out on twitter. Now it will be he who would have to back himself for choosing so.
For whatsoever the reason he had kept quiet during the five years back cross examination, he might have found all those reasons make no sense any more with he stepped into his thirties and Indian test squad has been made up with its new young performers recently. Well, that might be fair on his front and I’d like to wish him all the concentration and success for the season.
Coming to the spat-gate between the Indian vice captain and the batsmen who was in the same role just before him, it was very disappointing on the first front. To see the Indian fellow-mates word at each other and the foreigners make their way through in keeping the two apart, I feel sheer shy. And I’m not sure if the two batsmen carry any regret about what they did.
MS Dhoni has kept himself cool and the team bonded. IPL, as it’s said, has allowed many main Indian players captain their own franchises. Along with it, a trigger has been given to the ego of every player to come out strong in their captain-jobs which otherwise is not possible as long as the Indian skipper continue to lift trophies at home and abroad. Good or bad I’m not sure all this is for the Indian cricket but for the game itself, it’s an absolute bliss to have players playing their heart-out making their dreams true and capabilities showcased.
As a mere Indian cricket fan, why just as a fan of the game but as an Indian citizen myself, I’d love to watch the Indian players do well just with the ball and bat, which all matters in the cricket field. For the nation which has brought its people together against every odd for centuries now, it’s definitely not the party time to see its very own sons spat each other amidst the world looking at them for their professional performances.
Whosoever makes the provocation, all the players involved in controversies are responsible for the aftereffects be it on anyone’s career or be it on their country’s game itself. Better, cricketers be just professionals.

Believe in your work... Take Home #226

No one can spoil the show for a person who believes in what he does and works hard. Even if someone can spoil the show, that cannot be done for too long.

Believe in yourself and equally believe in your work.

Be self-motivated... Take Home #225

Never let the materialistic things motivate you. Because  when they can motivate you, they can demotivate you too. Be self-motivated to the extent possible. That's the way to win any business.
